Job Description
The Planning and Cost Engineer is responsible for preparing reliable & accurate cost estimates for projects on different development stages; involvement to the development and maintenance of data on costing database; prepares applicable schedule of activities in relation to prepared cost; develop, analyze and update construction methodologies applicable to projects.
Facilitate in planning activities through all phases of the project.
Prepares work breakdown structure information in means to assess an accurate forecast on time, resources and cash flow of project.
Review records of field conditions including topography, accessibility, availability of materials and utility services and difficulties which will affect the development and construction costs.
Ensures that work under their control is carried out safely and without risks to health.
Reviews and monitors planned schedule against actual work progress. Develops action plan with contractor's management team to address slippage in schedule and report/update status to Project Management Team.
Evaluation regarding final clean-up prior to hand-over of the project.
Complies with company policies and procedures, safety rules and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong analytical and planning skills;
Good communication and presentation skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
Professional: At least one (2) years of related experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Must be a Licensed Engineer
