Eram Talent is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cost Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing project costs to ensure projects are completed within budget. The Cost Engineer will work alongside other professionals from different industries such as Oil & Gas, Petroleum, Infrastructure, Energy, Water, Transportation, Science & Technology and Health Care to provide cost-effective solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
Determine project costs and create budgets
Evaluate budget proposals and ensure they comply with regulations
Track and analyze project costs and report variances to management
Prepare cost estimates for new projects
Provide support to Project Managers during the procurement process
Collaborate with Finance department to ensure project costs are accurately reflected in financial statements
Develop cost-control measures to identify and solve cost issues
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 9+ years of experience in Cost Engineering
Familiar with development if the various Classes of the Estimates, Budgeting, CAPEX , forecasting and cost control.
Fully familiar about invoice processing and cost estimating
Fully familiar on SAP applications and MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power point and Access).
Preferably familiar with Scheduling. Software skills (Excel, Primavera, Microsoft Project)
Knowledge of cost accounting principles
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Experience in the Oil & Energy industry is a plus
