Cost ControllerManila Water Company, Inc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures Complete, Timely and Accurate Completion/SAP Loading of Budget/Reforecast Expenses and Operating KPIs of assigned Cost Groups
Analyzes expense movement vis-à-vis operating drivers
Challenges alignment of expense items vs. business need/contract rates/best prices, etc.
Provides complete, timely, and accurate inputs (financial and operating data) to Cost Controllership and C&A Group Reports
Provides insights and variance analysis covering the results operations of assigned Cost Groups
Checks submitted Job Requests, validates that approvals are consistent with the current policies, reviews alignment with the standard costs and escalates those that are not within or has no standard costs to the Cost Group approvers
Reviews / Approves Request for Payments according to tax, accounting, governance, and regulatory standards / requirements
Contributes to policy development for disbursement processing
Escalates exception handling requests to Cost Controllership Section Head / Controllership & Analysis Department Head
Rolls out RFP processing guidelines to assigned Cost Groups
Flags and Reports deviations noted in transaction processing for proper corrective action and escalation
Contributes to team deliverables related to group management initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Finance, Accountancy or any business-related course. CPAs are preferred.
Proficient in MS Office Functions (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledgeable in SAP functions
2 years minimum related experience.
