Our client is a social enterprise focused on Sustainable Agri-Fintech Development Solutions and Value Added Consumer Product Development. Our client enables farmers to achieve higher farm gate prices, receive quarterly dividends, as well as having access to the financial and trading systems via digital banking to save and borrow money. We are currently looking for a Cost Controller, to be reporting three (3) times a week in our clients' facility in Taguig.
A permanent representative in our client's facility that can monitor their volumes and coordinate between suppliers, transport and logistics, coordinate with last minute buyers, and organise our client's inventory, filling necessary documents, etc. The cost controller would be assigned to go to our client's facility each major delivery day, and can work from home the rest of the time. Will be required to work on Sunday. Young and dynamic (3-5 years' experience but fresh from the school is feasible as well as long as she/he is motivated)
Responsibilities
Works closely with 3 sales people and Managing Director to ensure back-office tasks are completed
Perform back-office activities to support the sales process
Follow up on action items with sales people (proposal issuance, billing, contracts, etc)
Maintain customer status and updates in Salesforce
Follow predefined processes and ensure action items are executed timely
Maintain a map of customer accounts and define action plans required per customer
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance or relevant field strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office & G Suite
Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in cost control
Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to generate budgets and reports
Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems
