As a Cost Accounting - Pricing Specialist, you will be primary interface between Business development and Finance management on costing and profitability topics, supporting in areas such as preparing business proposals, pricing for bidding, cost analysis, tariffs and others.
Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with marketing and internal teams (Operations, Finance, Product, Legal and others) to understand customer and tender requirements.
Formulate and recommend an appropriate pricing structure, conduct out costing computations, evaluate alternatives, and communicating them to business development team.
Communicating with vendors and operation teams to verify pricing assumptions and confirm vendors' rates.
Serve as a key member of the bidding project team to assist in materials preparation especially on cost and pricing side, and support closing deals.
Assist in other ad-hoc required by direct supervisors and the management.
Qualifications / Requirements
Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, Economics or similar.
Minimum 2 - 3 years hands-on Pricing or Cost Accounting related work experience, with deep understanding of cost structure and excellent analytical skills
Good knowledge of supply chain industry (trucking/warehousing, Brokerage and freight forwarding transactions) is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Excel or Google sheet is highly desirable.
Bidding supporting background and skills on SQL is a plus.
