1. Collects, analyzes and reconciles all product cost elements including materials, labor, utilities and manufacturing overhead in terms of rates and utilization in line with the preparation of accurate product cost of items produced by the company;
2. Prepares the Cost of Good Manufactured Report, Variance Analysis Reports and other related product cost schedules;
3. Conducts and reconciles physical count of inventory and prepares month-end inventory balance report and other related schedules;
4. Monitors and analyzes inventory movement in line with product costing;
5. Analyzes and evaluates periodically the standard product costs and recommends for updates, if deemed necessary;
6. Evaluates and improves the cost accounting system in order to capture and report product costs more accurately and effectively.
7. Recommends improvements in processes in line with cost reduction and/or efficiency, in cooperation with pertinent departments;
8. Prepares and presents audit reports and recommendations to management;
9. Prepares costing of new products and/or products under development;
10. Conducts break-even analysis for projects;
11. Assists in general accounting tasks;
12. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time
