JOB SUMMARY : This position shall :
Be accountable to assure compliance with IFRS/PFRS, ICS and Group Cost Accounting i.e. the application of Group Cost Accounting Standards, principles and directives in each plant and quarries.
Be accountable to consult/support to the local management team and Region (i.e.) Regional Asia Pacific controller in terms of cost center accounting, product costing, investigate production variances, plant & quarried performance measurement (planning, accounting and closing).
Review GIF/CAR requests to ensure they are aligned with the corporate policy as well as accounting policy;
Be responsible to improve flow of information between Regional Asia Pacific controller, local management, local management, local functionalities in line with the concerned country's operation and other business objectives.
Responsible for internal and external controls, capital asset management, fixed assets accounting,inventory management, financial reporting
JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent., Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Has at least 3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
Has know how in SAP and has high level of competency in MS Excel
Has proven history of influencing and negotiating
Can work independently and is able to collaborate with various stakeholders
Has good communication and presentation skills including good command of the English language
Has high level of integrity and analytical thinking
Can work with multiple priorities
