Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Determines the cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data
Coordinates physical inventory counts and cycle counts and investigates cycle counting variances and resolves issues;
Coordinate with Plant Operation with regards to the weekly confirmation of Production orders and verifies source data.
Ensures accuracy and correctness of cost inputs (e.g. material prices, power).
Preparation of cost analysis reports and prepares variance analysis.
Updates standard costs in the bill of materials and validates the cost of goods sold
Preparation of cost-estimates and cost-reduction calculations/analyses and must assist in preparing departmental and companywide annual budgets and budget-allowances
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of BS Management Accounting, BS Accountancy or other related course.
At least 3 years work experience as a cost accountant or other relevant role
Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail
Preferably CPA but not required
Excellent in cost accounting, budgeting and planning, and familiar with taxation & government regulatory requirements
Strong analytical and planning skills; Good communication and presentation skills; Excellent problem-solving skills;
