Job Description
Corporate Industrial Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to new projects involving infrastructure & facilities with regards to the manufacturing layout, capacity studies, manning determination, manufacturing process flow design. He/She will provide support to the Business Units from conceptualization, design, execution, commissioning and turnover, including monitoring and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review the Facility Design Engineering and Layout to ensure effective and efficient flow of materials, products, people and/or equipment layout
Conduct paper simulation of the process flow and evaluation of the flow & equipment layout
Support operations in the conduct capacity reviews along with Third Party Contractor (plant facility and its auxiliaries, warehousing, etc. ) and provide recommendations
Support operations in the conduct of manning analysis and provide manning recommendations
Work closely with Food Safety, Workplace Safety, Health and Environment team to ensure design compliance to regulatory requirements
Co-sign off and co-approval of the Facility Design Engineering and Layout
Inspection on the compliance of the approved Facility Design Engineering and Layout
Evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of the implemented Facility Design Engineering and Layout and provide recommendation
Endorse the final Facility Design Engineering and Layout to the Business Process Team for process finalization and end-to-end business processes integration
Perform testing and analyze test data. Contribute to test reports to determine if design and process meets functional and performance specifications
Utilize engineering principles, technical knowledge, and experience to optimize most efficient Facility Design Engineer and Layout solution
Food Safety:
Ensures execution of quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations within the team
Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities
Other Task:
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or any equivalent course
Work Experience:
With at least 3 years relative experience in manufacturing set up and launch
Must be a self-starter and possess excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrated experience in working with engineering and operations.

Has strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and can work effectively and independently in a diverse workforce
