Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Senior Account Manager and Account Manager to achieve revenue targets for the assigned portfolio, while developing technical competency to enhance productivity. Taking initiative in identifying growth opportunities, prioritizing workflow, ensure timely completion of jobs, and maintain clear communication with clients, addressing their requests and building strong relationships.
Responsibilities
Financial Performance and Growth
• Support the Senior Account Manager and Account Manager in achieving the revenue target for the assigned portfolio.
• Develop strong technical competency to improve productivity.
• Be aware of growth opportunities and efficiencies to further service offerings, generate more revenue with current offerings etc.
• Managing time against jobs.
• Ensure all jobs in FYI Docs are completed and prioritized to ensure the Account Managers reach revenue/profit targets.
Customer & Stakeholders
• Ensure that reporting obligations to partners, clients, joint ventures, and other third-party stakeholders are met in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
• Display genuine interest in understanding client issues, challenges and opportunities when completing requests.
• Provide ad hoc reports and analysis as determined by clients or management.
• Provide timely answers and advice to clients regarding a wide range of requests.
• Build sustainable, strong relationships with clients, ensuring that all communication is clear and concise manner.
• Prioritise workflow and manage multiple reports and conflicting deadlines.
• Be the first point of contact for project specific client enquiries.
Process
• Ensure that all financial and reporting obligations are properly interpreted, recorded, and supplied to the relevant recipients per agreed parameters and deadlines.
• Preparing financial and valuation modelling.
• Prioritise efficiently and effectively when executing several deliverables.
• Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with report presentation & formatting to high presentable standards.
• Analyse financial records and arrange for adjustments to be made as needed.
• Assist with Financial Due Diligence analysis.
• Participate in daily team meetings to provide updates on engagement progress and technical knowledge sharing.
• Provide mentorship / coaching and training to junior staff when/if required.
• Assist with client invoices monthly.
Requirements
• 5+ Years experience in Senior Accounting, or similar role.
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or similar field with relevant certification (CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Netsuite or other accounting ERP
• Possess high level attention to detail and accuracy
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent planning, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills
• High level of positive energy and enthusiasm to maintain and grow the culture within UBTA.
• Flexible 'hands on' and 'whatever it takes' approach.
• High degree of motivation to self-motivate and drive success in the role and as a team.
• Outgoing and friendly personality to build relationships and rapport quickly and maintain a level of trust with customers and suppliers.
• High level of integrity, loyalty, and honesty to maintain UBTA's culture when dealing with internal and external stakeholders and customers.

• Willingness to work to Australasian Working Hours
• Willingness to work or relocate in the Angeles City Pampanga Office
Measures of Success
• High levels of Customer Satisfaction evident through meeting Service Level Agreements, Client Retention and Net Promoter Score.
• Timely delivery of reports and documents and tax returns.
• Achievement of revenue and profit targets and achievement of efficiency/utilisation targets.
