We are looking for a Copyeditor with solid copyediting experience. The right candidate will ensure that all copies written for our marketing team are on-brand, factually correct, and grammatically sound. He/she will report directly to the Content Development Supervisor and will collaborate with the Copywriters in all the stages of the editing process.
Job Description:
Edit and proofread a variety of copies supplied for the eCom Domination Mastermind (EDM) program under LeapVista. These include Facebook ad copies, product copies, and video copies.
Adopt and maintain the use of the brand voice in all copies.
Check for accuracy, grammatical soundness, and overall quality of all EDM collateral while ensuring adherence to our in-house content guidelines, SEO/FB ads best practices, and specific client requirements/preferences.
Work with the content team on other tasks and projects within the EDM program, such as brainstorming concepts and strategies, copy direction, and developmental editing.
Guide Copywriters and work with Designers and Video Editors throughout all stages of the content development process.
Assist the Content Development Supervisor in measuring the quality of copies and assisting with coaching the Copywriters.
Work with the Content Team on other special projects such as social media copy, video scripts, web copy, and other short-form copy.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communication Arts, Advertising, Marketing, or any related field.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Versatile writing style and broad writing experience.
Minimum of four years work experience as a copywriter, copyeditor, content strategist, or social media writer/strategist.
Knowledge of eCommerce, digital marketing, dropshipping, and online entrepreneurship is a plus.
Must present a portfolio and will be asked to take a writing/editing test.
