- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene
- Keep dining area, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized before and after meal.
Food handling and preparation
- Follow proper food storage practices to prevent damage and expiration;
- Adhere to safe cooking temperatures and methods to ensure food safety to avoid fire explosion;
Food quality and quantity
- Ensure that the taste of food is suitable for international students, not too spicy, sweet and salty;
- Control the food quantity to make sure enough food for students and not wasteful.
Time management
- Prioritize tasks efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and service;
- Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately to maintain consistency in dishes;
Experience cooking for an ESL school is an advantage
