Contracts Management
Drafts, evaluates, negotiates and executes various contracts of MWPV and Subsidiaries
Handles contract amendment requirements for various project contracts
Ensure the contract templates used are up to date and aligned with the Enterprise
Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract
Safekeeps contracts and maintains contract database
Monitors contracts and moving forward with close-out, extension or renewal of contracts
Problem-solving contract-related issues
Collaboration with legal team
Land Acquisition
Provides technical expertise in the identification and suitability of the land to be acquired as required by the project proponents.
Responsible in the land acquisition, transfer and titling activities, particularly:
Reviews reports submitted by service providers;
Preparation of correspondences to government agencies and landowners; and
Ensures documents relative to conveyance and transfer of properties are complete
Develops/Implement tools to monitor and review the status of the land acquisition engagements relative to the project requirement. Specifically, maintains monitoring sheet of the service providers to ensure that reports are submitted on time and periodically reviews performance of service providers against their key result areas.
Ensures Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures are strictly complied with.
Ensures the acquisitions of lands required by the projects are done in a prudent and timely manner.
Governance and Controls
Establishes and updates Land Acquisition policy
Establish and document criteria for vendor selection
Perform bidding and award as per established guidelines
Conduct periodic vendor performance assessment to measure service providers' performance against outsourcing contract
Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering and/or business administration, commerce or other relevant discipline; or a relevant combination of formal qualifications and additional specialized study.
Relevant professional certification or certification in progress preferred.
At least 8 years work experience or at least 4 years of experience in Contracts Management and Land Acquisition Management.
