You will join a fresh and new team here in Manila. Corporate Actions Content is a part of FI/FX & Corporate Actions which collects and monitors events that bring substantial change to an organization's capital structure. We cover 85k+ companies, more than 100 countries, and 200+ exchanges.
WHY IS THIS JOB IMPORTANT?
It is imperative to be able to present accurate info about new issues as soon as they are priced in our flagship product, Eikon. Our customers, mostly international banks and asset managers, take advantage of your expertise to take their business decisions every day.
This analyst is expected to lead one of the internal workstream teams and will be assigned to manage internal process documentation and mapping.
Roles and Responsibilities
Validate the accuracy of data received from various sources. Ensure that this information is stored in Refinitiv databases and is accurately reflected on products.
Ensure the quality and time-efficient production of financial information to Refinitiv products
Monitor and research market events to anticipate changes.
Assist the team and senior colleagues in performing quality checks and measures to maintain high-quality content.
Proactively research and identify corporate actions events (or) ways to improve coverage of the same.
Provide superior customer service by ensuring the quality and level of support meets or exceed the customers' expectations.
To plan and fulfill data enhancements and quality improvement project activities
To provide Root Cause Analysis for Data Corrected Cases and identify robust solutions.
Provide support in identifying and developing new measurements where a need or requirement exists.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate evidence of the following:
2+ Years Experience in finance and customer service with a strong passion for capital markets and an understanding of business events.
Background in either Fixed Income, Exchange Traded Funds or Equities Asset Classes.
Knowledge or experience of financial markets or accounting principles is a distinct advantage
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent Research and analytic skills data with rigor and being able to identify data inconsistencies.
Experience in stakeholder management (client engagement, internal partners)
Basic SQL and Intermediate MS Excel skills
