Job Summary:
The Construction Project Engineer - Civil Engineer is to complete engineering and construction projects by planning, organizing and controlling all elements of the project. He will supervise all development and implementation of a project and will be actively involved in any other project site -related work. He will be responsible for establishing project inspection criteria, coordinating the review of project designs and ensuring the proper implementation of project elements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan projects and establish the criteria by which project success will be measured.
Reviews project plans and proposals, then works with management to develop project objectives. Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project.
Calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project.
Prepares and distributes a description and timeline of the project.
Presents cost estimates and performance standards. Conducts tests assuring safe and satisfactory product performance.
Prepares status reports and regularly monitors budgets, contractors and schedules. Allocates project resources appropriately; approves expenditures; employee contractor contracts.
Keeps an accurate record and electronic data base of all elements of the projects.
Presents procedures, rules and regulations to those involved in the project; maintains a safe, clean and productive environment through enforcing procedures.
Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with local regulations.
Demonstrate knowledge in civil engineering principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, budgeting, employee supervision and personnel management.
Collaborate with the Senior Engineers to create more efficient methods and maintain profitability.
Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the collection of project data.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed CE is a must
Project site management experience is a must
Excellent project management skills desired
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Willing to be assigned in BGC Taguig
Willing to stay-in at site's barracks
