GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for the inspection and reporting on virtually every phase of the construction process. Ensure that all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed by the Contractors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews and proofread plans, specifications, code, shop drawings, submittals, procedures, reports, status reports, change orders and all correspondence between the Architect, Engineers, and the Contractors.
Check and verify all materials stored on and off site as well as materials used in site construction against approved specifications, submittals and their respective installations.
Prepares communication letters addressed to the Construction Manager, Head Office, and/ or Contractor.
Prepares and maintains OSM in-house estimates.
Reviews and evaluate submitted billings.
Prepares purchase requisitions and request for payments and endorses the same to the Construction Manager.
Monitors OSM usage and on-site availability.
Coordinates with the Construction Manager and/ or Architects regarding project issues.
Coordinates with purchasing, Warehouse man, and Head office Engineer regarding material requirements.
Recommends possible Value Engineering and endorses the same to the Construction Manager.
Does ocular inspections.
Does other works as may be assigned.
Reports directly to the Construction Manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A Degree in Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering.
Registered Civil Engineer.
At Least 1 Year experience in the corresponding field.
Computer Literate, Engineering Software.
Having a Driver's License and ability to drive 4 wheel vehicle is an Advantage.
