Description * - Participates in the formulation of the most economical and cost efficient construction methodology for each item of work based on the actual site condition from the site survey and inspection.
- Participates in the preparation of the internal construction budget based on the plans and specification of the new project.
- Ensures that the project is on schedule.
- Allocation, monitoring and recording of personnel into the different scopes or items of work onsite.
- Directly gives instruction to foreman and skilled workers for the day's assignment.
- Presides toolbox meeting and discuss the activity for the day.
- Prepares and submit daily accomplishment report.
- Ensures output of construction workers and equipment are in line with the project's budget.
- Ensure quality of work and the implementations of the different scopes of works comply with the approved specifications and standard.
- Support the Construction Manager in the construction process throughout all phases of the project.
- Establish, monitor, communicate and maintain project schedules.
- Provide reports regularly to the Construction Manager for updates regarding the project handled.
- Proactively identify issues that could lead to problems and implement solution.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a licensed Civil Engineer.
- Has at least five (5) years' work experienced in handling ports project is required for this position.
- Experience in direct supervision of workers is a must for this position.
- The candidate must possess the following qualities:
a. Analytical thinker and problem solving skills
b. Good communication skills
c. Leadership skills
- Willing to be assigned in Mindoro and/or Palawan area.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
