Responsibilities
Work with Design Engineering on the proper selection of electronic component parts to be used in the NPI models
Search for the suitable alternate parts per requirement using system operations according to part number
Promote and recommend Preferred parts to NPI models
Work with preferred suppliers in identifying possible alternate parts that is suitable for the intended application
Review monthly BOM to provide alternate for Sole and Single source parts as well as coordinating with Design Engineering to replace problematic part in BOM
Create monthly MRMR report to DE and ask them to provide the feedback to each alternate proposals
Provide Technical support to DE when required
Support for customer audit in preparing customer report
Qualifications
Graduate of Electrical Engineering or Electronics Communications Engineering
At least 2 years' experience on design and with exposure to different electronic components application and limitation
Computer literate and with good knowledge on excel
With good moral character
Knowledge on programming is a plus
Able to work with a group of different people and level
