COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Area Assignment: Lapu-Lapu City
Job Scope:
Lead the organization to fulfill its objectives through inspiring leadership, effective management and achievement of key performance metrics.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations concerning organizational and business operations/processes.
Fosters high standards of ethics and integrity, sense of responsibility and commitment.
Monitors and reviews the operational and suspicious transactions.
Conducts a month-end inventory count, risk assessments, and reconciles the discrepancies.
Prepares an Inventory audit report and communicates non-compliance incidents.
Identifies areas for improvement and assist in carrying out recommendations.
Competency Requirements:
A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Paralegal studies or its related course.
Preferably CPA / lawyer with at least 5 years of experience in financial controllership and corporate governance.
At least 3 years of experience in financial auditing, internal controls, government regulations and business processes.
Able to read and analyze financial statements and conditions and experience in Tax and regulatory laws.
At least 2 years of experience in Insurance laws and policies, SEC, BAI, DOLE, and other government agencies.
Strong leadership and people management, investigative & decision-making skills
Proficient in SAP B1 and accounting software compliance.
Able to deal with government agencies and other providers according to laws and regulations.
