Main Purpose of the Role:
1. Support Global Legal and Regulatory Compliance Counsel to provide general compliance legal advice and counsel to the REPH business units and work with RELX to achieve the aims and objectives of the compliance plan.
2. Provide compliance advice in relation to regulatory requirements for REPH and work with the Head of Legal for REPH and key REPH stakeholders to co-ordinate and implement the LN compliance project.
3. Lead and/or provide assistance in compliance investigations (local and offshore) as determined by Management and by the Global Legal & Regulatory Compliance Counsel.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Undertake compliance investigations pertaining to REPH including other compliance investigations as determined by Management and by the Global Legal & Regulatory Compliance Counsel.
2. Undertake training plans pertaining to REPH and other areas as determined by Management and by the Global Legal & Regulatory Compliance Counsel.
3. Undertake communications relating to compliance issues pertaining to REPH and other areas as determined by Management and by the Global Legal & Regulatory Compliance Counsel.
4. Monitor and advise on all current REPH regulatory requirements, policies and procedures applicable to the business as a whole.
5. Contribute to LN REPH Regulatory compliance using established methodology which involves a multi stage process to achieve compliance; Investigate, Gap Analysis, Policy/Process gap fill, Education, implementation and Audit. Using and establishing a process of "House Style" documents to roll out implementation, giving clarity and consistency.
6. Keeping up to date with new regulations which may affect the REPH business and finding pragmatic/balanced solutions for compliance efforts.
7. Work with RELX compliance department on various projects including Preventing Bribery compliance efforts, competition and data protection issues.
8. Build, manage and maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and teams across LN to help investigations/gap analysis and implement specific areas of the LN Compliance project.
9. Other accountabilities that may be assigned from time to time by Management Management and by the Global Legal & Regulatory Compliance Counsel.
