We understand that having an easy payment method can bring more jobs and opportunities for international workers with a global mindset.We are a fully remote team with members working across various countries, all coming together to create an amazing product to support international companies and professionals.About the Compliance Analyst RoleThe Compliance Analyst will be the expert on compliance processes for individuals and businesses in the Philippines.Time Zone Note: The Higlobe team operates across 15 countries. For this position, we are seeking a candidate who can initially demonstrate flexibility with their schedule to accommodate training. Once fully trained, the individual will transition to working standard business hours (Philippine Time).What You'll Do:
Monitor KYC/KYB/sanctions queues for exceptions and work cases to conclusion
Perform transaction monitoring to identify AML and/or fraud issues for analysis
Contribute to development of analytics methodologies and repeatable modeling and monitoring strategies
Apply strategic and analytic thinking to a wide range of essential tasks
Analyze and develop actionable intelligence on compliance risks and mitigating actions
Support cross-functional teams assigned to assess and implement mitigation strategies for those risks
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in performing KYC/KYB/EDD
5+ years of experience in fraud monitoring and detection
Experience working in a cross functional environment
Knowledge of the relevant rules and regulations (FFIEC, GDPR, LGPD, FinCEN)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently
Meticulous attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work within tight deadlines and within a team environment
Ability to research and apply new regulations
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including experience interviewing and assessing credibility of sources
