As a member of the Compliance division, you will be responsible for:
Review Outside Business Activity declared by staff member to ensure that nothing they do could conflict with the interests of Macquarie or Macquarie's clients or cause reputational damage to Macquarie.
Review Personal Account Dealing of our staff member ensuring that all personal dealing and investment activities are conducted appropriately, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and effectively manage potential conflicts of interest in relation Macquarie, our clients and Staff.
Administration personal trade platform
Maintain employee account and trading records
Daily monitoring of personal/employee trade activities, policy exceptions and resolution tracking, review and entry of statement trade data
Manage broker account request, monitoring and reporting
Compliance systems administration services.
Responding to enquiries
Execute Breach Management Program
AdHoc data entry
Ensuring high level of accuracy and customer service are maintained in performing job responsibilities.
Assist in other compliance tasks as required to ensure team objectives are achieved
To be successful in the role the candidate will be required to have:
The ability to interpret complex verbal information, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to manage through the day today deadlines
Analytical and investigative mindset and attention to detail
The ability to develop relationships across various stakeholders
Ability to multi-task, be self-directed, prioritize and work on deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality
Tenacity and flexibility
Ability and strong desire to work as part of an effective and collaborative team
Ability to learn and understand applicable regulatory rules and regulations and industry best practices
High level of engagement and participation in discussion about compliance policy and strategy
Key skills requirements are:
Strong communication skills - verbal and written
Strong attention to details and accuracy
Good time management and document preparation skills
Ability to work autonomously on allocated tasks with the ability to escalate issues and clearly and concisely where necessary
Problem solving skills
Effective at managing tasks through to completion
Intermediate/strong Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Excel and Word
