POSITION SUMMARY:
The Compliance Analyst role is responsible for various compliance-related tasks that add value to our client base of Finance Brokers, Aggregators, Vehicle Dealerships and Lenders. Via analysis of client business practices, NCCP-focussed loan file audits, compliance training and general advice; the role will ensure our clients are not only aware of industry best practice regarding compliance and knowledge, they will ultimately implement the same. The role will also incorporate timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks as directed by Directors, ensuring a smooth operation of our office and general business and systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide general customer service support and especially compliance-related expertise to our growing list of 'retained service' clients. These clients are mostly Finance Brokers and the service we provide includes being an 'add on' compliance team to their business and therefore the support provided includes regular NCCP-focused file audits, review of their general compliance and ACL-related procedures and policies, answering any ad hoc query they have and in general, we help their business run smoothly from a compliance perspective.
A key and mostly daily task will be the completion of Loan File audits focussed on NCCP and Responsible Lending adherence for our Asset Finance and Mortgage Broker clients.
Working closely with the directors, you will also contribute to the review of client businesses; focused on their Australian Credit Licence obligations, related conditions, and adherence to NCCP guidelines. Such reviews will be accompanied by customised and comprehensive reports that identify areas of risk and recommended practical steps for improvement
You will also conduct ad hoc Responsible Lending training programs via webinar and face-to-face.
You will participate in SalesKey's 5-day per week compliance helpdesk facility, including taking of inbound calls and answering compliance related questions from our clients.
Attend to our clients' ACL administrative updates when required, including co-ordination of their annual ACL renewal.
Input into development and maintenance of proprietary NCCP policies, procedures, training materials and Disclosure Documents. This task involves regular and ongoing review of industry updates, especially regarding regulatory changes (both new and upcoming).
Input into the development and implementation into our proprietary audit tool, comply365.
Completion of new client Credit License applications including customer interviews, collection of required business details, submission of application via ASIC portal, ongoing client and ASIC liaison until completion and provision of necessary, associated documentation to assist new ACL Holder.
Assist in administrative duties and customer service tasks as required, including but not limited to:
Updates to marketing material including brochures, manuals, and presentations.
Collate and distribute monthly regulatory and industry newsletters/updates to our client base.
Liaison with suppliers to ensure smooth operation of website, internal emails and related domains, servers and data sharing environments, mobile phones, and general IT-related company-owned equipment; and
Miscellaneous updates to general business records and registrations.
