Job Description Summary Reporting to the HR Director Transactions, Compensation, Performance & Reward, Asia Pacific, the Compensation & Benefits Team Leader, Asia Pacific delivers relevant, innovative and consistent performance and reward strategies, programs, processes and solutions to support the attraction, retention and motivation of an engaged workforce.
The Compensation & Benefits Team Leader, Asia Pacific leads a team of Compensation & Benefits professionals who are responsible for executing regional reward and performance processes, communications and other performance and rewards activities. The Compensation & Benefits Team Leader, Asia Pacific will work closely with the HR Director Transactions, Compensation, Performance & Reward, Asia Pacific to ensure maintenance of the regions pay and performance practice in line with Asia Pacific and Global Cushman & Wakefield philosophy and local market strategy.
This role will initially be hired on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Job Description
Annual Performance & Reward Process, Policies, Procedures:
Lead the delivery of the Annual Performance and Compensation Reviews and Goal Setting process across the Region including the planning, implementation and administration of the annual processes to ensure timely delivery and a positive people manager and employee experience.
Project manage population verification working with Regional C&B and HRBPs teams to ensure data integrity of the inputs into the Review process, including performance ratings completion and analysis of distribution.
Prepare the proposed annual review budget pools, and implement the principles and communications, including wide consultation with Leadership, Finance and C&B/HRBPs teams on imbedding our reward strategy.
Liaise closely with the Global Talent Management and C&B teams to maximize the HR systems and technology for the Performance & Reward review process.
Create meaningful reports and analysis to assist Leadership in making informed decisions regarding the year-end budget and spend as well as reconciliation and analytics for Finance.
Performance & Reward Strategy & Programs - Management, Implementation and Support:
In conjunction with and under the direction of the C&B Director, Asia Pacific drive, develop, recommend, implement and administer Asia Pacific Reward strategies, policies, plans and procedures to meet the Company's Regional and Global strategic priorities and objectives.
Provide subject matter expertise, guidance and consulting support in relation to performance and reward best practices to Management, C&B and HRBPs teams as required.
Coach in-country C&B leads on performance and reward related procedures and processes; evaluating issues and providing problem resolution.
Research, monitor and assess compensation trends and the regulatory environments, maintaining a strong connection with independent consultants, salary survey providers and industry colleagues to understand to the external market and climate.
Identify, develop solutions and methodologies, and implement cost effective performance and reward strategies to maintain a competitive advantage for the Company, inform decision making as well as streamlining processes for optimal efficiencies.
Oversee the process of Regional salary survey submissions to Global subscribed survey providers to ensure Regional alignment and consistency and proactively develop insights and recommendations from the outputs.
Equity Administration within the APAC Region:
Local support to the Global Stock Plan Admin team for the administration of Global Equity plans, including providing Regional coordination of new grants, vesting events, and terminations.
Ensure all Regional processes and procedures of Global Equity plans are appropriately documented.
Work with local HR teams to ensure compliance reporting and obligations are met for the Global Equity Plans.
People Management: Provide direction, guidance and leadership to the Compensation & Benefits Analysts, in the development, communication and implementation of the total rewards strategy.
Stakeholder management:
Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders including leadership and management.
Work closely and collaboratively with HRBPs, HR Operations, and other business functions (Finance, Marketing & Research, Legal, TDS) to ensure delivery of performance and reward initiatives to meet the business's expectations.
Ensure that high standards of service for the C&B function are maintained and improved upon to ensure continuous improvement.
HR Delegation of Authority (DOA):
Partner closely with Legal, HR COE and HRBP teams and business leaders to ensure the Asia Pacific DOA is followed as it relates to Employment/HR.
