The Role
Xendit has a unique approach to compensation and benefit management. To help attract and retain the right talent to xendit, we apply a regionally specific, globally cohesive approach. We're looking for a C&B Manager who will not only nail the execution of payroll for our employees and consultants (which is of course critically important to staff satisfaction), but someone who can advocate for our people, weigh in on localized policy creation, ensure we're compliant with manpower regulations and guide our staff through things like payroll, ESOP and taxes.
As we build out our global C&B team, this role will be critical in owning and supporting our staff operating in the Philippines. For the Philippines office, this person will single-handedly manage payroll, tax, manpower regulations, insurance, administrative onboarding and contracts. At a Global C&B team level, this person will also represent localized needs as we craft and manage our overall approach to ensure global cohesion, symmetry and fairness between our regional teams.
Outcomes
Onboarding
Act as the primary point of contact for new joiners to our Philippines office
Execute onboarding procedures including issuance of contracts and NDA's
Ensure data accuracy in our HRIS (Bamboohr)
Provide general tax education and advice to staff, and help them complete the necessary paperwork and tax registrations as needed
Payroll Manager & specialist
Prepare and execute monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations
Prepare and execute monthly contractor payments
Resolve questions related to payroll
Help to manage HRIS data relating to payroll to ensure accurate information is available at all times
Statutory filing and payments
Support local and global audits by providing timely response to auditors for data and contract requests
Research, propose and implement a new payroll management system to alleviate pain points
Benefits Manager
Manage insurance enrollments and deactivations
Own the insurance program, and conduct annual reviews and renewals to ensure we are providing the best possible coverage for staff/families within budget
Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed

Experience
2+ years of experience in processing end to end payroll for Philippines employees, including all reporting requirements.
Has done payments for consultants before, and understands the BIR registration process and all relevant requirements for individual consultants/contractors
Have a current understanding of local regulations and tax & welfare contributions
Have set up or transitioned a company from one payroll platform to another as the project lead
Have managed an employee insurance program before; bonus points if you've set one up for the first time or overhauled an existing program
Experience working with a HRIS of some kind, ideally bamboohr
