The CompenBen Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. This role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies, maintaining payroll records, and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities Process accurate and timely bi-weekly or monthly payroll for employees. Calculate and input salary adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related transactions. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements. Input and maintain employee data in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and changes to personal information. Administer employee benefits, such as health insurance, and other deductions. Process the timekeeping of employees. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting payroll. Maintain accurate and organized payroll records. Generate payroll reports as needed for management and accounting purposes. Provide timely and courteous responses to employee inquiries related to payroll matters. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. With at least two (2) years of experience in payroll. In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and benefits administration. Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
