FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Health Duties
- Administers medical services and dispenses prescribed medication to company personnel
- Conducts regular health monitoring (blood pressure, weigh, etc.)
- Updates and maintains personnel medical files
- Conducts monthly inventory monitoring of medical supplies
- Assists during Company Physician's weekly visits
- Assists injured patients to the nearest hospital
- Checks authenticity of medical certificates
- Recommends and implements health and wellness programs
- Assists HROD in the execution of the Annual Physical Examination (APE)
2. Safety Duties
- In-charge of promoting Safety Culture within the company
- Assures that the company's Safety Manual is implemented and practiced throughout the organization
- Assesses the safety standard in the company; conducts regular safety inspections
- Determines and controls hazardous working conditions in the workplace
- Suggests and implements safety initiatives/programs
3. Reportorial Duties
- Submits necessary health and safety reports to HR Manager and Safety Consultant
- Submits mandatory yearly health and safety reports to DOLE
