Ensure compliance with safety and health labor laws, and internal policies
Responsible for providing first aid treatment and medication in case of injuries and accidents. If needed, must accompany the patient for hospitalization
Responsible for coordinating with the HMO provider about annual physical exams and other employee concerns
Monitor inventory of medicine and medical supplies, and incharge of the request for replenishment
Monitor and assist benefits claims of employees
Coordinate employee needs and records with the company health provider
Develop and implement health and safety programs
Develop disease prevention programs, such as smoking cessation, exercise, and healthy eating
Document all employee injuries and illnesses within the workplace
Observe and assess the work environment for potential dangers and hazards
Oversee and implement emergency and disaster preparedness programs and planning
Counsel employees on physical and mental health issues and guide them on community resources and, or employee assistance programs
Monitor the health status of employees
Conduct research on the effects of hazardous work conditions and workplace exposures, which may include gathering data and reporting findings to the employer
Other HR and Admin Task that may be assigned
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Must be a Registered Nurse and with valid license
Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety
BOSH and OSHA certification is a plus
Knowledgeable in Admin and Human Resource Management is a plus
Proficient in using MS Office software, i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
Has strong interpersonal skills, and ability to influence and communicate with staff with different beliefs, attitudes, and personalities
Excellent administrative skills
Has a strong work ethic and integrity, is flexible and goal oriented, and has leadership and coaching skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to multitask.
Has the ability to handle multiple competing high priority tasks
Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Has the ability to complete work with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work with minimum supervision
