Duties and Responsibilities:
· Administer first aid and respond to medical emergencies.
· Assist in the processing of medical pre-employment requirements of applicants and new hires.
· Maintain employee health records; Updates employee health database by verifying and entering data. Maintain employee health information confidentiality.
· Prevents injuries and illnesses by analyzing historical records; researching occupational literature; recommending measures to reduce risks of injury or illness.
· Assessing the work environment for potential health problems.
· Developing return to work strategies following a serious injury or a period of prolonged ill-health.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety and employment regulatory requirements including report preparation and submittal to DOLE.
· Working within a multidisciplinary team (Emergency Response Team, H.S.E.)
· Promotes healthy lifestyles e.g. weight reduction, stress control, cancer screening, hypertension, and diabetes screening and control, cholesterol reduction programs; Conduct blood pressure monitoring for identified high-risk employees.
· Verifies and ensures submission of "fit to work" medical certificates; and performs diagnostic test evaluation.
· Conducts regular inventory of medicines and medical supplies for Head Office Clinic.
· Conducting/Organizing
o Health and Safety Seminars / Training/ Health Talks
o Safety Officer's / Nurse's Coordination Meeting.
Qualifications:
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Nursing or equivalent.
· At least 5 Years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Has knowledge in medical terminologies, generic and branded medicines
· Knowledgeable in MS Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
· Advantage to have accreditation of the following:
o First Aider (with Basic Life Support)
o Construction Occupational Safety and Health (C.O.S.H.)
o Basic Occupational Safety & Health for Nurses (B.O.S.H)
o OHNAP Training (Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines)
· Willing to be assigned in Bulacan Area.
