We are looking for a Communications Specialist to manage the online and offline communication of Byahe and increase awareness and support for the company's initiatives and activities in the transportation space.
The Communications Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the company's social media accounts, developing, and publishing content that support our business case and conducting occasional public and media relations work during company events.
Ultimately, you will be the person behind Byahe's online persona and voice on matters relating to mass transportation and modernization.
Monitor daily news and broadcast breaking news on matters important to the company
Research and develop content, with the guidance of management, that will be used for interviews, position papers, podcasts, vlogs and marketing material for both online and offline channels
Develop and strengthen a network of media, transportation and government contacts
Prepare media advisories, support in the planning of media interviews and press conferences
Plan interviews and press conferences
Track marketing insights on content published for the benefit of management
Participate in social media groups and professional platforms that discuss industry-related topics
Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams
Interested candidates must have the following experience:
3-5 years' experience working in the field of journalism, public relations or marketing communications or related fields
Excellent communicator and content writer in both English and Filipino
Experience in running and managing communications campaigns
Relevant experience in content research, investigative journalism, story development
Active in and adept with popular social media platforms
A fast learner who is genuinely interested in transportation and who is up-to-date with current affairs
A hard and flexible worker who can be productive working from home, office or field.
