Qualification:
Graduate of four-year course in BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, Nutrition, or graduate of a culinary school or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, knowledge in Asian and Western cuisine.
Extensive experience in volume food production
Knowledgeable in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Strong attention to details and organizational skills
Can start immediately
Job Description
Prime responsibility is to assist the senior chef in food preparation.
Ensures that all food is prepared accordingly to menu specifications/ recipes and accordance with the outline's requirements of the customer airlines.
Ensures that proper cooking/ preparation methods are followed.
Ensures that hygiene and sanitation standard are observed at all times as well as the strict implementation of temperature control.
Ensures that all task assignments are prepared the most economical way and material wastage is kept to the minimum.
Adheres to quality and food specification are defined by customer airlines.
Adheres to quality, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times in all levels of food production as described in the HACCP Manual.
