About You

You will be part of the Finance Function in Market but will partner collaboratively with multi-functional business teams and above market counterparts
About the Role
The Category Finance Manager is the primary and strategic Finance Business Partner of the Category/Brand, Innovation and New Business Development and Marketing Teams. The person will be the Finance Business Leader working collaboratively with these multi-functional business teams to achieve agreed ambition, goals and objectives, identify and create key growth and value creation opportunities, lead holistic evaluation and qualification of key opportunities and investments and provide guidance on policies and compliance.
You will have the opportunity to provide holistic, strategic business and financial leadership to category and innovation business teams. You will be empowered to manage performance versus agreed targets to identify and flag possible areas of risk and/or opportunities. You will be in crucible position to unlock opportunities to drive performance and create value.
You will play a key critical role in enabling new future growth opportunities via a robust innovation pipeline, entry into new categories and exploring business development opportunities and external partnership (e.g. licensing, royalty, etc). You will lead scoping of opportunities, financial evaluation and qualification including appropriate assessment and balancing statutory, tax and treasury considerations. You will be in a crucible position to make direct recommendations and enable final business decision making.
You will be the key Centre of Excellence for Pricing by collaborating with the brand teams on pricing strategy and opportunities, leading the agenda on adherence to Global Pricing Standard, and performing compliance reviews.
You will likewise play a crucible role in bringing external insights in by leading the External Intelligence practice. He will be leading doing a deep dive on competition strategy, performance and lead mock P&L cloning to drive insights and actions.
You will have the opportunity to impart, build and improve finance know-how and thinking to the cross multi-functional to ensure that they are aligned to the company's financial goals.
Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages
We'd love to work with you if you have:
Relevant (5+ Years) Experience in Finance Business Partnership, leadership and multi-functional collaboration
Superior analytical capability aided by Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills to draw insights and drive recommendations for decision and action.
Holistic Business Mindset and ability to apply and relate Financial Technical Mastery
Excellent personal and team leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior management and external partner.
Resourceful/can-do attitude and celebrates learnings in setbacks
Comfortable to operate in a Volatile, Ambiguous and Complex Environment
