As a Cloud Migration Specialist, your responsibilities will include the ff:
The person will establish a scalable and dynamic Hybrid Cloud Landscape focused on the agile delivery of company’s business solutions.
Responsible for integrating both On-Prem and Cloud-native solutions and services, as well as providing support for Cloud migration, operations and maintenance for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS workloads.
Core responsibilities will also include Cloud Cost Management/Optimization, Consumption and Quota Management, Capacity Forecasting and Tracking, Automated Systems Provisioning, Cloud Identity and Access Management, Security, Availability and Performance Monitoring, Backup/Recovery and Disaster Recovery, Configuration and Change Management, Vulnerability Management and Patching, Data Protection and Security Compliance.
Build and maintain automation of Cloud Resource Groups and Cloud Virtual Machine Templates
Implement and manage network deployment tasks such as setting NSGs, virtual networks, Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs and Netbond
Continually seek new automation and provisioning technologies and the use of services to achieve higher levels of optimization and consistency
Database experience including Scripting, Saved Searches and Reports
Data Migration and Cleansing experience
Experience reviewing large data sets for trends, errors or pattern including writing reports and recommendation to the business on issues, errors or trends within the data.
Experience performing standard data checks to look for issues with the data sets and provide feedback to users.
Qualifications for the role:
BS Computer Science, BS Computer Engineering, BS IT, BS Electronics & Communications Engineering or Electronics Engineering degree or any related course.
At least 3-5 years of working experience at Enterprise level - IT Infrastructure Design Implementation and Operational Management
At least 2 years of working experience with Cloud administration and automation.
The candidate for this position must have Cloud service administration experience using native tools, including portal and command line tools, cloud migration tools, and security controls.
Strong Server and Storage Infrastructure experience in On Prem and Hybrid Cloud environments, in large global enterprise organizations
Deep subject matter expertise with a major Public Cloud vendor such as Azure
Expertise with Virtual Networking, Network Security Groups, Traffic and Network Monitor, Load Balancers and User Defined Routing
Expertise with Cloud based Identity manage such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Managed Service Identity, Azure Security Token Service, and Multi-Factor Authentication
Expertise using Cloud migration tools such as Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery
