The Client Strategy Manager is one of the key go-to persons in Chronos Agency when it comes to client strategy. The key responsibility of a Client Strategy Manager is to understand clients' business issues and goals and help resolve and achieve them.
What defines a good Client Strategy Manager
A good Client Strategy Manager understands clients needs and wants well - and helps achieve these by working with the internal team to create a coherent and well-defined strategy. At Chronos Agency, we work with fast-growing e-commerce businesses to improve their profit through email and SMS marketing, which means the Client Strategy Manager needs to have relevant experience in these 2 marketing channels in the e-commerce realm.
A good Client Strategy Manager has strong empathy for clients' business needs, and has a knack in understanding what clients really want and need (both explicit and implicit)
A good Client Strategy Manager has a strong understanding of the ins and outs of Email Marketing. He/She understands the key levers of email marketing that contributes to performance (usually revenue, unless otherwise stated by clients).
A good Client Strategy Manager is able to discover the root causes of client or performance issues quickly.
A good Client Strategy Manager should be a good communicator and teacher. He/She works frequently with other members of the fulfillment team to drive successful client results. He/She will also have to communicate with clients when the need arises.
Lastly, a good Client Strategy Manager is a Client Success Champion - he/she goes the extra mile to meet client expectations, and influence his/her team members to provide the best output for our clients.
Manager and Direct Report
The Client Strategy Manager will report to the COO/Client Strategy Director.
The Client Strategy Manager is expected to collaborate closely with other team members to deliver client results.
Requirements
3 to 5 years of email marketing experience in an e-commerce setting
Hands on experience and expertise with ESP tools like Klaviyo
Strong written and oral communication skills, specifically around presentations
Ability to build relationships with clients and peers
Ideally, has worked in an agency setting, in client facing roles
