BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB
This position is a Client Operation Specialist. They should have a granular understanding of specific Microsoft licensing programs and the nuisances within them. Additional training will be provided. This position works closely with their Advisors and SLC's supporting them by handling the day to day tasks which may include: requesting current contract documents and uploading them to the SharePoint site, quote requests and creation, requesting Microsoft Licensing Statements, handling the pro-active on boarding of new Microsoft Enrollments and Enrollment renewals & submitting POSS tickets.

Must be able to use Microsoft Excel and advanced formulas
Ability to be organized
Create accurate work items
Work independently
Ability to mult-task through different tasks
Meet deadlines
Written and Verbal communication skills
Ability to learn and be aware of Microsoft's different license programs, products
Ability to work in changing environment and adapt to change
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
Having a manufacturer or industry certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of software industry experience required.
Minimum of 3 years successful sales experience is required.
Customer service or support background is also desired.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Computer hardware/software knowledge is required. The willingness and ability to self learn much of the software licensing information that will be necessary to serve as a resource for Insight Advisors & Software Licensing Consultants is required. Excellent oral and interpersonal skills are a must. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills are also desired. Must be very experienced with Excel and the ability to use advanced functions. Should be able to use the rest of the Microsoft Office products as well.
This position must understand the Insight objectives and possess the ability to make decisions and undertake actions that balance customer needs with available product solutions and company policies.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
