We are looking for an enthusiastic budding Civil Estimator to join our growing team. This role requires minimum of 1 years estimating experience.
Working across a range of projects, you will:
Work with an experienced and diverse team
Undertake full quantity take offs from drawings using industry standard software
Prepare pricing schedules
Assist in preparing methodology reports and providing constructability advisory services
Undertake first principal estimation
Develop a P50 and P90 risk assessment
Prepare construction programme
Provide whole of life cost forecast
Develop value engineer solutions
Risk and opportunity identification
Liaise with external parties including clients and main contractors
Assist with procurement services
Work with the senior team across multiple projects
Receive further training and opportunities for career development
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Have a Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 1 year of post Graduate experience in first principles estimating or site experience
Be able to work in a team as well as autonomously
Confident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills
Have an enthusiasm and passion for the built environment
A can-do attitude that focusses on solutions through innovative thinking
Actively contribute and coordinate discipline specific activities i.e. estimating of projects including but not limited to first principles and unit rate estimating or the development of Project management plans.
Proficient in the use of Discipline specific IT software such as Cost X (and others such as Mud Shark, Expert Estimation etc.) or MS Project/Primavera P6 etc.
Educated to at least Degree level Qualification in a relevant discipline such as; Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or Project Management or equivalent industry related experience.
Willing to report in our Mandaluyong office
