We're seeking a Resident Engineer to help oversee the complex and the everyday project tasks for a variety of clients. Based in Batangas, you'll have an opportunity to work on projects across the state with the support of a global team. By developing detailed scopes, reports and schedules, you'll help our teams achieve our client's objectives
Due to recent project successes and a strong project pipeline, we currently have interest in recruiting experienced Modellers with Civil 3D experience to join our Manila office. As part of the Jacobs team you will gain exposure to a wide range of projects and technology, working alongside a highly experienced and dedicated team.
Specifically, your duties will include:
Production & development of 3D models.
Production of 2D drawings from 3D models.
Ensure drawings & models are completed to the desired quality, programme & budget.
Follow the company QA procedures.
Model & drawing production from engineers' sketches/ mark-ups and from scratch using architectural backgrounds and/or concepts & schematics.
Take responsibility for drawing issued, daily housekeeping in terms of both digital and hard copy project file storage.
Advise software problems as soon as possible.
Assist in training junior team members.
Qualifications
Here's What You'll Need:
Relevant computer-aided drafting & modeller experience essential.
Experience with Civil 3D software essential.
Good communication skills.
Resilience to deal with critical feedback.
Good presentation skills.
The ability to meet deadlines.
Being able to work under pressure.
Being accurate and patient.
Knowledgeable in other softwares like AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation, Navisworks.
Knowledge and understanding of data transfer between key software packages is beneficial.
An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods would be beneficial.
A sound knowledge of engineering design principles would be beneficial.
Relevant Bachelor's/College Degree, or equivalent drafting technology diploma.
