Job Description
The successful candidate will report to the manager of the Desktop Services team. They will be joining a team that is responsible for the management of multiple Citrix sites across an organisation of over 38,000 staff. They will also be responsible for efforts to merge legacy Citrix environments, upgrading of existing environments to current releases, providing day to day support of the Citrix environment, and any other Citrix related projects.
Qualifications
Excellent skills in the following areas are required:
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop (6.5 to current LTSR versions).
Citrix Provisioning Services
Citrix Federated Authentication Service Experience.
Citrix Workspace Environment Manager.
Citrix Licensing.
Citrix Storefront.
Citrix Director, reporting, alerting, and monitoring.
Microsoft App-V.
Management of hosted shared desktops as well as VDI.
Other Knowledge and Abilities
5+ years with configuration and support of Citrix products and technologies.
Knowledge of TCP/IP and interoperability with various network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
Knowledge of Citrix Netscaler an advantage.
Knowledge of MS Windows and VMware operating systems.
Knowledge of information security techniques to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work.
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with co-workers, clients, vendors, and customers.
Additional Information
Schedule: midshift (1pm to 10pm)
Location: Eastwood, QC - Hybrid Set up (2x per week onsite)
