Job Description:
In this role, you will partner with other lines of business and offshore partners providing oversight and support of daily production, with an overall focus on accurate and timely capture of all client trades and instructions. You will work closely with global business partners and must be diligent, inquisitive and logistical being a key point of control and communication for ensuring effective trade capture for Net Asset Value production.
Job Description
As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst, you will be accountable for the following:
In depth knowledge on all of the teams processes and products (Fixed Income, Equity, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Money Market, Foreign Currency Exchange, Exchange Traded Funds, etc)
Provide support to preparers in the preparation of daily audit packs and any other deliverables.
Perform review/checks on deliverables prepared by team members.
Ensure deliverables under clients handled are signed off on strict timetables so timeliness of client deliverables are met.
Ability to perform preparer tasks and Ability to perform preparer tasks and allocate deliverables when there is capacity constraint within the team
Regularly coordinates/communicates with downstream and upstream partners (i.e. Oversight Team, NAV Val Team, Reconciliations Team, Pricing, Static Data Team, etc) and other stakeholders through emails, or telephone for chasing dependencies and solving issues.
Make sure all Trade Capture and Validation queries are responded to by the team timely and accurately.
Lead in the team's regular knowledge sharing and learning activities to achieve the team's goal of zero error in all its deliverables.
Handling the task of client POC which basically makes sure all client nuances are properly and timely documented and applied in all its deliverables.
Taking a lead role in projects related to the implementation of enhanced processes or productivity.
Able to conduct trainings of new joiners or cross-training on specific processes of the team when the need for mentoring arise.
Regularly review SOPs to ensure they are duly updated and recertified by Operations Control and Monitoring team.
Complete and pass all mandatory and product related trainings within the team's set deadline
Conduct one-on-one session, feedback session, and coaching to team members
Able to lead a committee
Qualifications:
5+ years of operations or project management experience.
Works collaboratively, shares information and effectively communicates with team members, senior management and clients.
Able to prioritize and respond to changing work patterns.
Demonstrate analytical and problem solving abilities while possessing a mindset of accuracy and attention to detail.
Embraces corporate change and possesses a flexible approach to work.
Experience in Trade Capture and Reconciliation would be considered a plus.
Ability to understand end-to-end process and associated details.
Must be fluent in English language: Verbal, written, and conversational
Requirements
A minimum of one-year experience in fund accounting is preferred; however, candidates that have relevant coursework and internships will be considered as well
