Job Description:
As an Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for inputting remittance data from various remittance processing customers into processing platforms.
Responsibilities:
Managerial Obligations
In charge of overseeing performance management for Transaction Service (TS) Operations team, including coaching, mentoring, training, and preparing appraisals
Attendance to service reviews with regard to vendors and other partners
Prepare Management Reports concerning TS Operations on a weekly and monthly basis
Administrative Reports
Prepare local, regional and regulatory reports and updates
Organize daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation NOSTRO reports
Check and submit AML, other regulatory reports, and volume (MIS) reporting on or before due date
Ensure monthly reports on GLRS, DST. Withholding Tax, Billings, Compliments, and Monthly Metrics on TS Operations are reported and submitted on time
Transaction Processing
Authenticate, execute and oversee various payment / disbursement dealings, as well as collections from clients and partners both locally and internationally
Manage, cross-check, update and clear checks from transactions
Ensure MC requests are processed on time, and managed accordingly after issuance
Ensure that all pending transactions are processed on time, either by the end of market cut-off or upon agreed conditions as stated in the SLA
Work closely with the Mumbai Hub regarding funding approval and other processes
Account Servicing
Provide service for clients in handling Demand Deposit Accounts (DDA), including opening, maintaining, or closing of accounts
Check and sign audit confirmations and bank certifications upon client request
Accountable for processing requests for certificate of inward remittances
Responsible for document updating, e.g. uploading signatories, call back lists, board resolutions, secretary certificates, etc.
Other Tasks
Handle, participate, or mentor team members in various projects
Attend to business contingency activities
Adherence on zero tolerance regarding policy breaches
Carry out other pertinent activities for the overall success of TS Operations that may be assigned or required from time to time
Responsible for providing relief in case of absences
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of work experience in Wholesale Payments Operations.
A strong understanding of Wholesale Payments Operations processes. A strong back-ground on local regulations and processes is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills. Has the ability to communicate effectively between internal and external stake holders.
Strong teamwork skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Excel and Powerpoint Skills
Strong control mindset
