Job Description:
The Role
Reference Data roles are responsible for operational support, data management, governance, sourcing and control of reference data. This may include management of information related to third parties, legal entities, financial instruments, industry execution and clearing venues. These roles may be also responsible for design and implementation of zero-touch data pipelines including external market and vendor data feeds, as well as design and validation of digital quality control mechanisms. This may include simple to complex financial instrument classifications and sale information. This may also include updates made to clients' currency and branch records, and their associated tables, to enable setting up standing instructions and completing straight-through processing.
Responsibilities
Primarily performs research and analysis to provide resolution to non-routine reference data issues of moderate complexity that may span multiple transactions and stakeholders.
This role regularly uses independent judgment as well as technical, operational, and regulatory experience to resolve exceptions or propose solutions.
Serves as an escalation point for specialists.
