Job Description:
Dealing Room
Coordinate all of the dealing room activities from a regulatory perspective. Maintain dialogue with local regulators, as well as represent JPM and participate in various local Banking associations / forums
CEM Trading Management
Deliver strategic direction and meaningfully grow the Fixed Income and Currencies trading franchise in the Philippines market
Partner cross-functionally with other Lines of Business to grow the broader markets franchise
Ensure team understands and complies with all relevant policies and procedures for managing risks and applicable regulations
Monitor and ensure trading strategy and risk management are in line with applicable limits and regulations
Manage and develop staff by:
Setting objectives
Monitoring results, and
Giving appraisals/feedback in a timely manner
Reviewing skill sets and abilities against business requirements
Motivate staff to produce positive results
Maintain regular dialogue with senior management, primarily Regional Managers and Branch SCO, CAO but also other Rate Markets / CTC / Credit Markets and Support Function Managers
Qualifications
10+ years' experience working within an investment bank, 5+ in rates trading
Experience managing other traders
Strong awareness of market structure changes and the impact of regulation
Experience of working collaboratively in highly productive teams
High degree of numeracy
Strong communication skills, especially around complicated concepts
