To successfully push forward in this challenging business, we are looking for a competent CI (Continuous Improvement) Engineer.
 
Job Description
 
As Continuous improvement engineer you will be responsible to plan, lead, execute and monitor continuous improvement projects relevant for the short-and long-term development and success of the company. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement in the company.
Closely liaise with production management and provide support to identify continuous process improvement initiatives.
Investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints in production management and operation processes, identify trends, process variations, and provide solutions for improvement.
Establish KPI's and reporting tools to optimize production performance.
Maintain KPI targets identified in line with business objective and strategy.
Drive standardization of processes, monitoring of KPI targets and best practices.
Provide documentation, training, mentoring and guidance in new processes.
Proactively analyze organization processes and develop ideas for improvement strategies.
Lead and guide continuous improvement projects.
Complete post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved.
Define audit regime to maintain the sustainable implementation of improvements.
Monitor and report project progress to CI manager.
Qualifications and experience
Graduate of Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering)
A master's degree holder in engineering or in business administration/management is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
1-2 years of experience in process improvements, quality engineering or similar role.
Strong knowledge in production processes and manufacturing concepts (Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and other)
Very good knowledge of MS applications (Excel, word, vision, PowerPoint, and MS project).
Excellent communication and writing skills, leadership (decision-making, self-motivated, fast learner, and goal setting) and strong problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is beneficial.
