Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:
As a client lead CFO, you will be the person primarily responsible for guiding our clients financial strategy. You will be leading clients finance areas such as; financial day-to-day operations, assessing and modeling projections for day-to-day business, and potential acquisitions. Additionally, you are expected to be able to help clients implement ERPs and/or other finance technology as required. On certain projects, you will also be responsible for building finance teams, assisting clients with due diligence assessments, ensuring GAAP compliance, and implementing and maintaining proper controls and governance across clients' businesses.
Consolidate subsidiary profit and loss accounts to create Group results.
Manage and drive output from the financial accounting functions to ensure that deadlines and timetables are met.
Assist the CFO in managing annual audit process with external auditors.
Assist business unit managers and department heads with preparation of salary packaging.
Ensure presentation of timely, accurate and meaningful financial information for decision making (month and year end).
Ensure timely preparation and presentation of annual budgets across the company.
Ensure continuous improvement in the areas of management reporting and compliance.
Mentor and motivate staff to achieve desired performance outcomes.
Strive for a continuous reduction in the number of days in the current month end cycle.
Provision of high-quality support to executives and senior managers.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
To be the technical lead in client projects and expected to lead the team in delivering client deliverables.
Typical Qualifications:
Experience Target (in this job or a related function/field): 7+ years of experience working as a CFO
Skills:
Netsuite experience required
Previous experience in executive management, understanding of state and federal taxes, understanding of payroll
Strong leadership qualities
Strong integrity and accountability
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to handle pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ERP implementation experience desired
