Job Description
THE CHIEF ENGINEER IS THE MANAGER OF THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT.HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFE OPERATION, CONDITION MONITORING AND MAINTENANCE OF ALL VESSEL'S TECHNICAL INSTALLATIONS. FURTHERMORE, HE IS RESPONSIBLE TO SEE THAT ALL IS IN CONFORMING WITH AND PERFORMING IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT AUTHORITIES (NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL) RULES AND REGULATIONS/CLASS RULES, THE OWNER'S MANAGEMENT AGREEMENTS, CHARTER PARTY AND COMPANY QMS REQUIREMENTS.
