Edsa Shangri-La, Manila is the only five-star deluxe city-resort convention hotel in Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila's second largest business district. Adjacent to two major shopping complexes in the country - Shangri-La Plaza Mall and SM Megamall. It is seven-kilometres from the Makati Central Business District and 13 kilometers from the international airport.
DUTIES
The Chief Accountant is responsible for posting transactions, verifies postings and payments transactions and maintaining the General Ledger. He/She is also responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly Financial Statements and ensures complete (100%) submission of monthly Balance Sheet analysis & schedules, overseas AP & GA operation. He/She will conduct traininig and facilitates monthly P&L meeting. Coordinates with internal and external audit, government officers and all other departments.
REQUIREMENTS
BS Accountancy graduate
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
5 years experience in hotel accounting with at least 3 years as Service Leader - Finance.
With organizational leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge in Auditing functions
Computer literate
