What role will you play as a member of the Colgate Palmolive's Customer Service & Logistics Team?
This position is responsible for providing Supply Chain leadership and collaboration with customers of the assigned Customer Development Team (CDT) to ensure high customer service level and on-shelf availability, optimized trade inventory and efficient services to shoppers.
Main Responsibilities :
Customer Engagement
Works with the customer on growth opportunities, efficiency initiatives and other value-added services such as Collaborative Planning, Efficient Replenishment, Data Synchronization, EDI, palletized/centralized delivery, etc, resulting in excellent service level and reduced cost to serve.
Support the enforcement of Supply Chain Terms & Conditions with the customer(s) based on Pay for Performance.
Synchronizing Supply and Demand
Actively participates and supports the Commercial Business Planning process (CBP). Closely works with Key Customer Development Managers on baseline plans while identifying inconsistencies in volume estimates based on historical trends. Links customer specific plans to the Demand Planning process to ensure alignment and execution by the Supply Chain. Communicates any Supply Chain issues or constraints that might impact the execution of the plan.
Effectively manages data flow, communication and processes associated with new and transitioning SKU's, material status (e.g. SLOB, Discontinued) and ensures synchronization with customer's data.
Align promo planning and execution with the Commercial Team.
Order Fulfillment
Ensures 100% order fulfillment of all customer Purchase Orders from customer order entry to PGI
Ensures an efficient VMI replenishment process (order entry to delivery)of distributors while cultivating effective relationships with both distributor and CP colleagues (AS APPLICABLE)
KPI Monitoring
Monitors performance metrics (KPI's), shares performance information with the Team and customers, and identifies gaps and resolutions.
Coordinates cross-functional work teams to eliminate root causes of customer supply chain inefficiencies and Out of Stocks (OOS).
Deep dives causes of admin cuts and works with CDT and customer to address findings.
Trade Inventory Optimization
Conducts/organizes routine on-shelf availability audits, shares findings and collaboratively works with CDT and customer on resolutions.
Reviews and analyses customer inventory regularly and captures watchouts and opportunities to optimize trade inventory.
Returns Management
Monitors customer returns from Returns Slip (RS) receipt to CM generation
Uses returns data to generate meaningful insights and recommend actionable solutions that will help reduce the rates per customer.
RDC Replenishment (AS APPLICABLE)
Maintains optimum inventory level at the Regional Distribution Center while ensuring stock availability to meet customers needs.
Reviews safety time, lead times, and demand regularly to anticipate possible disruptions in operation that might impact sales.
What you'll need...
Bachelor degree in Engineering or Logistics, or any related course
At least 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
Experience with FMCG operations on Customer Service and Logistics
SAP APO knowledge and experience is a plus
Customer-facing function experience is a plus
