Job Description:
The Mortgage Banking Fees & Shared Fields Oversight (FSFO) team provides oversight and governance over all servicing fees, default corporate advances and shared fields across the business. The team's responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring fee or shared field guidelines, policies and practices are managed in a controlled environment. FSFO shares updates to fee and shared fields through internal communications and reporting.
The Fees team ensures that fees across MB Servicing and Default are applied according to investor, insurer, federal, state or other regulatory guidelines. This is accomplished by managing the fee matrices with the applicable rules and ensuring the rules are synchronized in the systems and applied at transactional level.
The Shared Fields team is responsible for maintaining the usage and integrity of shared fields in the servicing system. These fields drive different actions and are used by multiple businesses across MB. The Shared Fields team has ownership of the documented rules that define field definitions, valid value definitions, business usage / rules by loan status, loan status field controls and compliance / regulatory justifications for each shared field. Within the Shared Fields organization there is also a centralized operations team which executes on daily processes to ensure that the shared field's content is accurate based on defined business rules.
