Job Description:
Responsibilities: The person selected for this position will assist the federal Biodetection Director of Field Operations (DFO) with managing the day-to-day operations. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to the defense of the Nation in a new and developing office.
This position will be located on a client site.
Assist in various systems engineering processes to establish requirements of networked detection systems.
Work with Project Manager to develop project documentation requirements and schedules. Assist with development, fielding and sustaining equipment.
Conduct systems engineering tasks in support of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) systems.
Supervise and guide junior engineers.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree, or equivalent, in engineering discipline.
5 years in systems engineering or related work.
Active Secret Clearance and must be able to pass a DHS Suitability Check.
Location: National Capital Region, Washington, D.C.
