Job Discipline Description Prepares, records, verifies, analyzes and reports accounts receivable transactions, and posts customer payments on a timely basis | Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports | Develops, directs, plans and evaluates accounts receivable policies and procedures, and ensures external and internal controls and policies are adhered to | Produces reports of accounts that are in arrears and analyses of bad debt, and prepares analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud | May be responsible for low-volume customer billing, including preparation, delivery and responding to resulting queries General Profile Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience Completes work with a limited degree of supervision Recommended Skills Functional Knowledge: Requires skilled in a range of processes, procedures and systems to carry out assigned tasks or has developed deep skills in a single area Business Expertise: Applies knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams to achieve objectives Leadership: Provides informal guidance and support to team members Problem Solving: Provides solutions to atypical problems based on proven practices or procedures Impact: Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team; recommends changes to improve efficiency Interpersonal Skills: Explains job specific information
